ROTARY YOUTH WITH PACT

Rotary offers many youth programs to empower students and their partnership with PACT integrates even into these areas, spreading awareness to students around the world!

INTERACT

Interact: ​An action group of young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle the biggest issues in their community, child trafficking, and help ensure that they understand and the warning signs and can protect their other students that they care most about. Interact. 

One of the first students PACT had was Sofie Buechler who was 13 years old and in the 8th grade.
 
She went on to be the Director for the PACT High School course in 2020 by bringing 20 students together to design, write, act, film and edit the first interactive course! Interact club members carry out hands-on service projects from recording, translating languages to make international connections, develop leadership skills, and have fun in the process while protecting each other.

Services and Projects

Translating languages: one of the most important facets of this education course is to get it into as many countries as we can.  We are Rotarians thinking Globally! Here is where students across the globe can use their own native language and cultures to share on film and translate from English to their native language for others to hear how to be safe and ware.

​Rotaract: clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.
In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities like yours

HOW ARE THEY PARTNERING WITH PACT AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Whether you are 18 or older, there is nothing more relevant today than this subject matter. 
Did you know that 15% of today’s college coeds are raped on campus and another 25% sexually assaulted? Those numbers are numbing, and that is why PACT Student Ambassador programs are at the University of Texas, Texas A&M, University of Montana just to name a few.

  • Example: These high school students are conduction a panel discussion at Concordia University in front of the school

  • The discussion is on social responsibility and what are schools and communities should be doing together.  The panelists include Jimmy Myers, a LPC/SA and the Pastor of True Life Church, Richard Neusch, also the Chairman of the Board at PACT

  • Or perhaps working together with local organization like the Boy Scouts or the Girl Scouts

  • Or how about a conference where you invite all of your student friends to discuss with subject matter experts, police officers and counselors why the statistics show that 15% of the coed population are being raped and another 25% being sexually assaulted in campus and what is being done about it?
