Workshop at PACT PACT conducted a workshop on Creative Teaching in association with Academy for Creative Teaching on 17, 18 & 19th of March 2006. Dr. P.S.Prabhakaran, Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore was the Chief Guest, delivering his inaugural address Dr. P.S.Prabhakaran lauded the efforts put in by Padmashree Group of Institutions for conducting such work shop which in his opinion was the need of the hour and an example each of the college should emulate. Dr. Gururaj Karajagi, Chairman of ACT who has conducted several such workshops informed that these workshops are needed to refresh the mindset of the faculty and infuse new ideas amongst the teaching faculty. Dr. Ashwath Narayan, Managing Trustee of Padmashree Group of Institutions presided over the function. Over 70 faculty members participated in the workshop. After the workshop participants felt that these three days workshop was very useful and their view on teaching had changed for good. Many stressed the need for conducting such workshops regularly.
